Qutub Minar

Qutub Minar is a 73-meter, 12th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site in South Delhi, recognized as the world’s tallest brick minaret. Located in Mehrauli, it’s open daily from sunrise to sunset (roughly 7 AM – 5 PM). Tickets cost ₹35–₹40 for Indians and ₹550–₹600 for foreigners, with higher prices for cash payments.

About the Monument
- History: Commissioned by Qutb-ud-din Aibak in 1199 AD and completed by his successors Iltutmish and Firoz Shah Tughlaq.

- Accessibility: Wheelchair access is available up to the base of the tower.
